Latest RFID UHF Animal Ear Tag for Cattle and sheep Tracking

HSY has recently released RFID UHF animal ear tag suitable for using in medium size livestock to improve the efficiency of RFID cattle tracking. Operating at a frequency range of 860 to 960 MHz for global use, this UHF RFID ear tag provides long reading range of up to 5 meters to allow ranchers to verify individual livestock quickly and decrease the problem of cattle losing or feeding mistakes.

Compliant with ISO 18000-6B U-CODE protocol, this passive RFID UHF animal ear tag can help ranchers to identify and record each cattle for its whole growth cycle. And after asssigning each cattle with a unique ID number from the ear tag, the UHF animal ear tag can be detected by a reader within 3 meters, and within up to maximum 5 meters away.

With the chips sealed inside the Polyurethane housing, the UHF animal ear tag has an IP68 protection rating and has a data retention of up to ten years. That is to say, when the animal tag is attached to the cattle’s ear, it can provide a wealth of secure individual animal identification, such as animal’s feeding, lacation, vaccination history, etc.

Besides, this UHF ear tag can be printed with a customized logo and sequence number for different kinds of livestock tracking choice. In addition to the cattle tracking, it is also suitable for other animals such as sheep, pigs and other for livestock management and scientific testing applications.
